Background
I was born into the Cecil Shaw family as Cecil L. Shaw III before legally becoming Barack D. Obama Shaw through an inspired vision in 2013. President Barack Obama brought a hope into the world that I had never seen or experienced before and this was the catalyst that had me legally change my name because I believe that people today need that same type of hope.
I studied music and taught private lessons to aspiring artists. I was the State Chairperson of the Ring of Truth Political Party and I ran for Mayor of the City of Alameda ,CA in 2022.
I am really excited about the opportunity to make a difference in the area of politics. I was a certified Gubernatorial candidate who ran for Governor of California in 2026 and my goal was to bring harmony and confidence to the state of California. I received over 11,000 votes. My background as an Army Reservist and training to be a Sergeant is the cornerstone of my leadership and execution of big objectives.
I stopped complaining and I started campaigning. I believe we are all created equal and I stand for all people.
Let's truly be the United States of America and not divide States of America.
